Aircraft Altitude Encoder Automated Test Solution or ATE (Automated Test Equipment) is a fully automated turn-key solution capable of simulating the altitude function by varying the input pressure to the Aircraft Altitude Encoder​ (Unit Under Test).

Designed by TESTX Automation, this ATE is implemented using our unique approach of integrating hardware and industry-standard software like LabVIEW & TestStand to provide one-click result-driven outcomes (reports) to customer’s test requirements.

Requirement

Customer Specification

Customer Specification S1: The altitude encoder/ digitalize shall transmit the altitude data in UPS data format through two RS232 serial communication channels.

Additional referenced Information: The UPS data format is 17-byte information encoded into ASCII format with 1200 bps, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity.

Note: S1 is the number assigned for the purpose of traceability with the test case and test results.

Our Test box platform now has an inbuilt LRU mount fixture that is convenient to use and significantly reduces operator errors and improves testing efficiency.
